Ah well mother! Indeed they should get used to the hijab, but I would say to give them at least until grade 7 when they reach the secondary stage. During their primary life, the hijab serves no purpose, only restricts.

I'm not saying that they should go half naked, only dress modestly.

Also, a woman wearing hijab should be convinced that it is the right thing or else the hijab wont serve any purpose at all because her heart is against it and she will take it off, or act un-islamicaly in the first chance she gets. Hijab is not something you get used to, its something you understand, accept and want.
