Can Muslims Have Christian Friends?
Yes.
Islam encourages Muslims to treat others with kindness, honesty, and respect. Friendship based on good character, mutual respect, and cooperation is not forbidden.
The Qur'an says:
Quote:"Allah does not forbid you from being kind and just toward those who do not fight you because of your religion." (Qur'an 60:8)
Many Muslims have Christian neighbors, classmates, coworkers, and friends.
While Muslims preserve their own religious beliefs and practices, this does not prevent them from building respectful and meaningful friendships with people of other faiths.
