On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying:


That the bondsman would utter the word thoughtlessly that he will fall down into the fire of Hell farther than the distance between the East and the West.
