If I recall, the verses I posted said, "Fight those who believe not in Allah" not "Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against us."
What place does vs 9:29 have in the life of Muslims today?
("Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.")
You said, "Allah never allowed us to Kill Christians without rights.. but He asked us to invite them to the way of their Lord with wisdome."
It says right in that verse to fight "the People of the Book". These "People of the Book" are Christians so the Qu'ran is saying to fight Christians. That is why I'm confused. Is Allah asking you to invite Christians to the way of the Lord with wisdom and also fight them at the same time?
Muslimah, if you cannot befriend a non-Muslim but at the same time you don't hate them...what exactly is the relationship of non-Muslims to Muslims? I'm confused. It's sad to think that Muslims and Christians cannot be friends.
