Love of a fellow Muslim for the sake of Allah:
Abu Hurairah related that Rasulullah once told of a man who visited one of his brothers in another village, and that Allah caused an angel to lie in wait for him on the way. The angel asked him where he was going, and he replied, "I am going to a brother of mine in the village." The angel then asked if the brother owed him some goods which were of value to him, and the man replied, "No, I just love him for Allah's sake." The angel then said, "I am Allah's messenger to youand came to tell you that Allah loves you just as you love your brother for His sake."

another reminder on the virtue of patience:
Suhaib related that the Prophet (saw) said:
It is an astonishing thing that everything turns out well for the believer; and this applies to the believer alone. If happiness comes to him, he gives thanks, so it turns out well for him, and if a misfortune comes to him and he shows endurance, it turns out well for him.
