Dan stated the population was heading towards a 50-1 increase in women. There is no evidence of this that I can find on the web. If you have a resource to support this then please paste it.
Law of averages says that there is 1:2 chance of having a male or female (really slightly less when you count the 1:150,000 chance of having a hermephrodite). Without an outside influence, this will not change. Our enviroment still equally supports a even split of male and female briths, with a slightly longer lifespan (measuered in years, not decades for everywhere I just looked) for women.
But alas, I degress. On a short, or long, enough timeline, any statistic can be proven.
