The Islamic Ruling On The Permissibility Of Martyrdom Operations

Some aspects of Sharee'ah may well have some ethical and moral value. Although I am not religious myself, I recognise that at the base of humans morals and ethics can be derived from religion. The punishments however are an abonimation to mankind and need to be \"abrogated\" to bring it in line with the times we now live in. Why some muslims want to hark back to the savagery of 7th century arabia is beyond me.

It is clear that the concept of abrogation: the nullifying of an older commandment or practice in favour of a newer law, is nothing new and it has been practiced by God for aeons. What we know is that the laws governing the mankind (i.e., Shariah) changes according to the needs of the society. But the concept of monotheism (i.e., Tawheed) remains the same. The Creator knows very well that his creation, the humans, need time and discipline to grow and mature, He reveals commandments and practices that help them develop both as individuals and as members of society. All Praise be to the God, Lord of the Worlds.

And Allah knows best!

So much for not responding !!

JohnDoe, as I told u several times, u r supposed to be here to learn about Islam. Obviously u have a problem about the existence of Allah to start with, u refuse to talk about this, continue to tackle subjects in a very immature manner. See u can not join a company as an employee, then complain about its by law (may Allah forgive me I m not trying to exmplify Shariah with a man made by law). See JohnDoe, if u like to continue being so sarcastice under the execuse that u r bringing points, well yes we benefited by posting replies and others reading. But I think u need also to be more respectful and objective.

We have no problem with non muslims guests, we are here to help, not to force any to become Muslim. So calm down nobody is pushing u to become muslim. So stop being defensive and astonished that we Alhamdulelah are very satisfied with our religion.
