Bismillah The hijab is not a religious symbol as the west sees it like a cross. It is a method that muslim women use to protect their modesty. For some removing the hijab in front of nonpermissible men is like some Western women removing their tops in public. You may find this absurb but remember that you were not brought with the level of modesty. Try wearing the other person's shoes... or head scarf if you will. Peace |
