As salam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu

I have heard that as long as the Arabic is not present then it is permissible. One scholar warned to which I agree, that one should be careful though because the Qur'an needs explanation with it for certain aspects. We as muslims need tafseer and we already believe that it is the Word of Allah.

I try to focus more on at-Tawheed since this is what most people do not understand and is the fundamental priciple of Islam. Another shaykh said to keep Islam simple when first introducing it to people. I hope this helps, Insha'Allah.
