greetings, may you be well.
i have read about many of the worlds religions, but Islam has always been of interest to me. i mean no disrespect by my questions, and hope none is felt, with that said,....
i have read that the Qur'an is unchanging, that it is not to be "modified", but there are differing views , or interpretation, of the words, thereby giving different sects.
How does this effect the believer of Islam in the whole ? do people change sects ? and if so,are they thought badly of ?
last question ( i know im prob asking stupid questions, but i have never found a answer that made sense, please forgive me )
Christians ( and Jews ) are talked about in the Qur'an as believers in god, almost , but not quite of the same faith , passages from the Bible are in the Qur'an, and the Bible has much from the Torah, what is the view of the Muslim of the two other books ?
Im a Christian, i believe in God, and i have never felt that others who believe in the one God are lesser,
or better in his ( GOD's ) "eyes", even though in my country there is many who feel otherwise, not all do.
i once again ask for forgiveness if i have said anything that can be seen as "wrong" , i am a guest, and do not wish to offend.
