The Prophet (saaws) said , denounce the world and Allah will love you, and denounce what the people possess and the people will love.
Boycotting is the way to go!
We are not suppost to indulge in all these things anyway, we are to keep everything pure and natural as can be.
From what we put on our bodies to what we put in them.
They made a deodorant out of crystal. My mom is truely into natural products (she's from africa, and if it isn't natural she don't use it. Anyway, she told me that some deodorants contain an item that robs the body of it's energy. I forgot which item. The point is that things that are not natural and made from man's ablitity, instead of directly from earth, is for the most part, destructive to the body.
We as muslims should never desire to live forever, but as long as we are alive we should want to be as healthy as possible, insha'llah.
Boycotting these things should be no problem for us.
