Contemplate on this quote . . . and then regret
#1

Assalamu 'alaykum,

Shaykh al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah was asked once (and this is found in his Fatawaa ), about what land is best for Hijrah, and whether there are better places to live in and be in than Makkah and al-Madeenah. The question seems rhetorical ofcourse, because no one would imagine a place better than Makkah and or al-Madeenah, were one salah is equal to 500,000 in any other Masjid. So Shaykh al-Islaam answered by saying: 'Balaa! (ofcourse), the lands of Jihaad are better and more rewarding' . . . so just contemplate, in the haram in Makkah, one salah = 500,000,. . . yet the lands of Jihaad are better ... just contemplate . . . .

How true is Allah's saying that those who are seated (like us, wallahul-musta'an) are not equal to those who believe, and do hijrah and fight in His way . . .
