Salam

its good to get some feedback on this topic. U knw just today i went to the mosque there was a pragramme, an a sister was talking abt our muslim youth in colleges and how they act.

Everything she was saying was so true. She was talking abt the diffferent types of muslims and how they twist things in Islam to best suit thier needs. One of the types was the ones who wear shiny shalwar kameez and only pray on Fridays jumma prayer just to show everyone else they are a Muslim. They forget abt all the rest of the prayers during the week and that day.

Another type of Muslim r those who wear tight clothes and just cover thier head. They believe that to be the rite way to cover. Other wear it and tk it off.

She was also talking abt how Muslim youth today want the best of the best. Up to date clothes, the newest phone out etc. How some Muslims just go to college to study and r in the library all the time and forget abt the prayer.

People want to fit into the group. They wanna fit in so they do haram acts just to satify other people. They go to clubs and raves to show other ppl that they have a life that they arnt boring.

Also the free mixing of the youth. How some ppl may look innocent from the outside e.g having a beard or wearing the islamic dressing. But inside there intentions r wrong. They sit and chat to the opposite sex sayin oh its got to do with the study's but yet indeed they have sumthing else in mind.

The whole aim of the lecture i went to was to show our Muslim youth how much they r on the wrong path. Everything she was saying was so true. One thing she said was whats haram is haram and whats halal is halal. But how come we ppl find it so difficult to follow that simple principle. Its straight forward isnt it? I thought to myself yes that is so true but still we do wrong.

Halal just doesnt mean she said that u eat halal food everything else all other categories come into this.

Sister Masriah is good to hear abt ur efforts to spread Islam in ur mix school. It can be very difficult to do so. I knw wot u r saying. But u knw i realised that parents who tell thier children or force them to do sumthing most of the time do the opposite. I mean like force them to wear the hijab. Girls wear it but as soon as they r away from home they tk it off.

neway inshallah i will post again soon just pray that allah shows all of us the rite path to islam .

ameen
