But you have clarified the point on the Vatican and Friday prayers. which was not apparant to me. Fair enough. I didn't think it was big deal but wanted to know why muslimah mentioned the call to prayer in the US at all, particularly since muslimah is not in the US.
Nobody here called themselves \"a victim\" because the Adan can not be called over the load speakers in the US. It is not a big deal and the only one here is you making a big deal about it. We can preform it in our Masjid on the loudspeaker.
Sister Muslimah is not in the US and the point she was trying to make was would they allow our friday prayer at the Vaticant. (it is not at night btw) It is not to \"antagonize\" them, just an example that it would not be allowed there, but in a Muslim country you could ring your bells and all that stuff. Get it now???
Who is the one paranoid anyway? I have read over the posts and I do not see it.
One last question. What does HabibHibee meen anyway? I know what Habib meens... because I am Habib Allah!!!
Just for the record, I am more in favour of peace and quiet rather than ringing of bells or calling to prayer or some idiot blaring their car stereo at some early hour. It's just a noise to me, I don't differentiate between a muslim noise or a christian noise. See, you are making me feel paranoid about talking about it now !
Habib is just a random name, Hibee is the nickname for the football team I support.
What does Habib mean ? I thought it was an Arabic name.
