Quote:Bismillah
Shamms, yes I asked if you can find a mention of the Messenger Mohammad blessing and peace be upon him in the Bible.
Jesus taught his disciples the reason for his birth saying:
Mark 8:31
(31) And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
The Qur'an denies this teaching from Jesus himself. Based on this issue, I don't see why the Bible would mention the coming of anyone that would deny what Jesus said about himself unless it was a warning.
Quote:But regardless of the change of the language style, if I m not mistaken, there are bibles that have been evolving missing certain parts, i.e rejection of homosexuality is one.
Correct me if I m wrong please.
You are absolutely correct. Because there is no government control over the Bible (contrary to popular belief this is not a christian nation), anyone can reprint a Bible. Some have done this with the best care and scholarship possible, while others have had an agenda (like the removing the rejection to homosexuality). It is a testament to the Bible's availability and circulation that we can look at these mistranslations and see them for what they are. Obvious attempts to distort the word of God. They will have their reward.
