Bismillah
Karbala, how does a Sufi shrine of a late mortal human being should be considered a place of worship?
I dont believe in building shrines. For example here in Egypt, I avoid performing Salat in Masjed's of Sayeda Zainab, or Hussain may Allah be pleased with them. But mostly Sayeda Zainab. Last I was in the area running an errand and Asr called. I went to perform Salat and found out they built an additional shrine in the small entrance to the main Masjed and people standing there Astghferullah, making Salat and dua. I asked who the late person was? And I got a reply, this was the servant of the masjed who proved to perform Karamat. La ilaha ila Allah. Karbala those places are not but an extension to how Shytan got people to worship idols when he decorated the matter, convinved them to raise graves of their pious grandparents and so on.
Can you please provide me with a hadeeth, an evidence telling me that it is alright to perform Salat in places with graves, or that it is fine to start with to raise up graves of pious people? this would help.
