Writing in the Quran
#8

Bismillah

Dear Jenny, if it is a translation it is okay to write on sides of it but if the Holy Quran no it is not permissible, but it is okay to write with a pencil at the sides or the meaning of a word until she memorize it or understand it and later to erase it, that is what was told to us by scholars and they are all from Al-Azhar Al-Shareef. Ostatha zaynab Al-Sharqawy, Sheikh Maghawry, our teachers at Dar Al-Quran, so it is okay since it will be a pencil to help her understand the words better.

And Allah knows best

Salam
