Quote:You are confusing me again.
In the other thread, you stated that you think the Bible is the "most offensive book on the face of the earth". In particular, you said it is more offensive than "The Satanic Verses" by Salman Rushdie and "The Satanic Bible" by Anton LaVey (the book which is the bible for the religion of Satanism).
Since, in your own words, the Bible contains "wonderful narrations that go hand in hand with Islam", how can you simultaneously claim that it is the "most offensive book on the face of the earth"?
Do you believe that "The Satanic Verses" and "The Satanic Bible" also contain "wonderful narrations that go hand in hand with Islam"? And, if so, can you provide us with some passages from these two books which you think are compatible with Islam?
If you cannot provide us with such passages, then how can you claim that the bible (which you say contains "wonderful narrations") is simultaneously "the most offensive book on the face of the earth" and more offensive than "The Satanic Bible" and "The Satanic Verses"????
Don't be confuse, I will clarify further insh a Allah…
You see, I don’t doubt for a moment that you are very smart mash a Allah, however you don’t look at what I’ve said as a whole, instead you only pick up few sentences here and there and build upon them a new story.
Please remember that I’ve also said on the other thread, post no 21 that:
Quote:I don’t have the Satanic verses by Rushdie in my home, but I’ve red it and I still insist that the Bible is more offensive than any other book on earth <b>because you are claiming that it was inspired by God Himself</b>.
That what makes it more offensive than any other book written by human being, and so if you can accept that the Bible <b>was the production of man and has nothing to do with God Almighty</b>, then automatically it won't be the <i>MOST</i> offensive book on the face of the earth, but to say that every word, comma and full stop in the Bible is inspired by God, it makes it very difficult for me to teach my children any moral lesson based on those useless stories and offensive terms attributed to God or revealed by Him… THAT <b>WHAT MAKES IT MORE OFFENSIVE THAN ANY OTHER BOOK ON EARTH</b>
As for Rushdie’s book or any other book written by man, as I indicated earlier that human being might utter such rubbish, it is expected, but GOD???? It is not befitting for His Majesty to inspire such immoral narrations, and so if the Bible was God’s inspired word, <b>then it is indeed the most dangerous and offensive book on the face of the earth</b>.
Quote:Curiously, "The Satanic Verses" is banned in (for example) Egypt but the Bible isn't banned. Since muslims believe that the bible is more offensive than "The Satanic Verses", shouldn't the Bible also be banned in Egypt?
Again, you are portraying my own claim about the Bible (<b>i.e. that it is indeed the most offensive book</b>) as it is an idea believed by ALL MUSLIMS… this is wrong, I don't speak on behalf of all Muslims and I don’t know how many Muslims have examined the book and reached to the same conclusion!!!
The satanic verses was banned from Egypt (and even from INDIA), because the author abused almost <b>EVERYBODY</b> and not just our beloved Muhammad pbuh and his wives, (<i>but people did not read the book, they think it is only related to Muslims</i>) he even use the <b>FOUR</b> letter word to describe the Queen of England!!! The same word was once used by an American actor in England and caused him to be banned from the country immediately, but for Rushdie, it was considered as <i>freedom of expression</i>. Rushdie does not only abuse the Queen of England, but he even speaks ill of all Americans (<b>using the same word, but for them he makes it more active by adding ING</b>), he even abused Indians and their beliefs, so over all the book deserved to be banned because it serves no purpose at all, on the contrary, it may creates alot of problems around the world.
As for the Bible, it is not to be seen anyway by Muslims in Egypt, so why should they ban it?
