Quote:Would he like JohnDoe and certain "muslims" have an epileptic fit over the trivial hug or would he focus on the bigger picture presented in the video?
Karbala, with all respect I dont think there are such things as trivial issues in Islam. I also dont see where anybody had an 'epileptic fit' it was merely pointed out as being inappropriate and accurately so. Certainly I dont feel this is an attack about the woman (she is an actor or really a Muslimah?) as it was said we may all do things out of emotion or whatever and none of us are perfect. Neither are we in any position to label each other.
And honestly, I dont think the Prophet would overlook men and women embracing each other or consider it to be a trivial matter.
Quote:Ever heard of the story of the man who urinated in the mosque and all the companions were about to crucify him what did the Prophet(saw) do?
He had water pored over it to clean it thus teaching the man that this is not a place of urination. He didn't overlook it, he acknowledged it and dealt with it accordingly.
And nobody here was ready to 'crucify' the girl who did the hugging either, but it should be noted that it is incorrect. There is nothing extreme about that. This is our religion, and it is a moderate religion, we take it as a whole or leave it as a whole.
