For most of us, Eid-ul-Adha, the Day of Sacrifice, is a time of celebration and family. Its also a duty for us to perform Qurbani, if we can afford it. Its also a once-a-year chance for us to really please Allah (swt). The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said, The Son of Adam doesnt perform any action on the Day of Sacrifice that is more pleasing to Allah than the Qurbani. (Related by Imam Tirmidhi)
