Bismillah: Assalamo ALikum.
Quote:I'm curious to know why you use Jimmy Swaggart as an example. According to Jesus:
The reason why I used Jimmy Swaggart as an example is his debate with Ahmed Deedat (Is the Bible God's word?) he said in the beginning of his talk to his audience "Mr. Ahmed Deedat told me before coming up on the stage that Muslims are allowed to marry up to 4 wives so I told him that Christianity allowed only one wife so I've to get the BEST from the first shot"
So I was shocked when I heard about him committing adultery which proves that his wife is not really the BEST, and that marrying another wife would have been better for him.
Quote:According to Jesus:
You have learned that they were told, "Do not commit adultery." But what I tell you is this: if a man looks on a woman with a lustful eye, he has already committed adultery with her in his heart.' Matthew 5:27-28
Yes, but what punishment did he give for those who commit adultery in order to control and avoid that sin?
Quote:It is, of course, impossible to live up to this standard, so as a result all married Christians are guilty of adultery. No need for you to pick on Jimmy Swaggart, you can accuse any married Christian of adultery and I will agree with you. Allowing me to take 2 or 4 or 100 wives would not solve the problem of adultery. There will always be women I am not married to that I will look at with a lustful eye.
Naturally as soon as Islamic law is implemented, positive results will be inevitable. If Islamic Shariah is implemented in any part of the world, whether it is America or Europe, society will breathe easier. If capital punishment is implemented on those who committed adultery in America for example, you ask yourself, will the rate of adultery, incest, rape etc increase, decrease or remain the same? Islam is a practical law, he gives you first the solution of having another wife to prevent you from committing adultery, then it prescribe severe punishment for those who are still bending on disobeying God Almighty.
Quote:You are contradicting yourself. You claim that Islam offers the solution to adultery, yet you admit that Muslims still commit adultery. So, apparently, Islam does NOT offer the solution to adultery. Correct?
Quote:What about a muslim woman who wishes to have sex with more than one man? How is this situation handled under Islamic law?
