Can I pray like the Muslim do?

Alsalam alaykum,


This reminds me of an interesting story. I knew a Christian that used to wake up everyday around sunrise. He'd wash his hands and his face and he would prostrate towards the window in this apartment.


One day he was passing by a masjid and he said something like, "Those people are doing the same thing that I'm doing!"


Not much afterwards, he converted to Islam. He was then handed a time table of the five prayers. He thought that it was a bus schedule. =)
