Hello to all,
I am thoroughly fed up with Muslims saying that Christians pray to three gods, the father son, and the Holy Spirit. That is entirely untrue for we do not believe that these three persons are three different gods, but are one in the same. Now on face value I know this may seem incomprehensible, but allow me to explain.
Consider the molecules of water, H20. Now also consider the different forms this same molecule may take. Ice, water, and steam. Each are different in their own ways, have different characteristics and each serve different purposes , such as ice to freeze, water to drink and steam to burn. However although different they are all made up of exactly the same molecules and atoms - H20. Just as is the Holy Trinity (which is God in three persons). Although each are different and serve different purposes, such as the Son to die on the cross for our sins, and the Holy spirit to dwell in each heart and fill each person with God's loving grace; each of them or still one and the same. They may not have identical characteristics however share a trait that is undeniable - they are all one GOD. Thus came the introduction of the word Trinity, which originated from Tri Unity.
I hope that I haven given a better understanding of the Christian belief to all.
Love, the Fisher of Men
