John, I think this has been going on far enough. I think you do understand but like to just 'play around' - to put it nicely.
You know or should by now know that the majority of Muslims follow the two main sources in Islam, Qur'an and Sunnah. Sharia'ah derive from these two sources.
The punishment has already been described by brother Wel_mel_2 and there is a distinguish between if those involved are married or not. And of course as already has been stated, if Shari'ah implemented and in use, if there are four witnesses, etc to put it briefly.
But the issue referred to does not say anything about zina. It is not Muslims that tortured her and killed her. It is obviously some kind of honour killing due to the 'culture/traditions' of these people.
I don't know why you are so eager to mix things up?
