Jazak Allah khairn brother Wael for highlighting some of the points of the woman in Islam.
It always amazes me how some people seem to be so offended when sighting a woman in Hijab or niqab, and instantly judge her as being oppressed. It is a very short sighted view of the womans dress code.
Having myself transformed from going out in public in what by western standards would be considered 'normal' attire, and now, for the past 5 years as a completely covered Muslimah, I can say with absolute certainty that Islams dress code, does in fact help to maintain the honor and dignity of the woman underneath.
From my experience, I think brother Wael, you hit the nail on the head when you made the statement about the western system of women's "liberation" is actually a disguised form of exploitation. It robs us of our value and undermines our charactor. We can see the effects on the society, the morals decline more and more with every coming generation.
Maybe it is a man's world, but who holds more influence over the man than the women?
