MMF & Wael, thank you so much for the info you posted. I would never have known those facts about men's dresscode if Muslim guys in Sydney were any indication to go by.


A couple of questions have popped up in my mind. I know these might sound a bit silly but I'm currently studying 'Theology of the Body' (in Christianity) so I'm curious as to what Islam teaches on the subject :)


Where Adam & Eve created in original nakedness? If Allah (SWT) intended Islamic men & women to tempt each other from the beginning why would He command that they cover up from head to toe?


Also, why are we created in all types of shapes & sizes & possess unique physical features if we're not meant to be seen by the world? Wouldn't it make more sense if we all had the same generic look?


Have these matters been explored in Islamic theology?
