Suhail, let me get someting straight, because I got some how confused. Was your post #3 sort of a dialogue between two people one of them trying to explain what are the goals of the Jama` are? And did i understand correctly that they cut off the part of enjoining good and forbiding evil of their methodolgy?

Nope you have got urself confused , the dialogue was nothing to do with the goals of the jamat , enjoining good and forbiding evil is the main purpose of the jamaat
