Bismillah
Ok, I will translate his explanation:
1. ما negates the past as in:
ما حضر المسافر
when it is used with a جملة اسمية a sentence starting with a name: it functions as كان وأخواتها
مثل:
ما هذا بشراً
It may be used with a present tense verb, in this regard it functions only to negate like:
ما يحبُ الكريم البخل
2. لا it gives the sense of dont do and used with the present tense which makes the present tense in this case takes a sokun as tashkeel. For example:
لا تأكلْ الطعام الملوث
Other cases, it becomes a negative element but not functioning as in:
لا يحب الله الجهر بالسوء
3. لن
It negates the present tense that takes a fatha in this position, but negation here would be for the future:
لن ينجحَ الكسول
4. ليس is used with a sentence that start with a name as in:
ليس محمد نائماً
hope i Helped, if not pls let me know.
