In the Name of God - Father Son Holy Spirit - whom I adore, love & trust above all things!
Quote:Assalamo Alikum FHC and thanks for asking me again about my religion. :)
Wa alikum alsalam & shukran gidan for providing answers to my questions :)
Quote:Repentance has its own conditions that you need to fulfill in order to be forgiven. First, you need to admit your guilt and this is obvious in your words. Second, you must intend not to do the same sin ever again. Third, you need to keep repenting to Allah for sins in general for all humans commit sins always and be certain that He hears you. Allah Almighty says what means:
<b>If anyone does evil or wrongs his own soul, but afterwards seeks God's forgiveness, he will find God Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful </b> ( Qur’an 4:110).
So, whoever commits a sin, whether major or minor, “but afterwards seeks Allah’s forgiveness, he will find Allah Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful,” <b>even if his sins were greater than the heavens, the earth, and the mountains. </b>
Also Prophet Muhammad pbuih said: <b>“No Muslim commits a sin and then performs ablution, prays two rak’ahs and begs Allah for forgiveness for that sin, but He forgives him.”</b>
Praise Allah - most forgiving & most merciful!
What role does repentance play in Sharia Law? If someone commits a sin, e.g. theft, fornication, homosexual practices, e.t.c., however, completes the steps of repentence you cited above, are they exempt from the severe punishments that usually coincide with these acts? Insh a Allah! When Allah forgives, does the stain of sin completely wash away from the penitent's soul & the accompanying guilt get removed too so they are made clean again?
Quote:Oh really??????????? :D :D :D
In typical Islamic fashion, the non-believer's sentence is chopped in half & totally taken out of context
Quote:<b>Satan is even smaller and weaker than those germs who carry influenza virus and transmitted to other people</b>, because <b>he have no power at all over the believers “True Muslims”. </b>
The Qur’an says:
Iblis (Devil) was correct in his assessment of them and they followed him, <b>except for a group of believers. He had no authority over them except that We might test those who believe in the hereafter from those who are in doubt about it. Your Lord is The Preserver of all things.</b> (Qur’an 34:21)
Of course Satan do bother the believers by whispering because of the deeds that they’ve committed, but <b>true believer in such situation will participate in JIHAD with his ownself and fight our biggest enemy (i.e Satan). </b>
However, no matter what Satan whispers to believers, <b>he will not be able to distract them from God's guidance as long as they follow the path that God shows. </b> God reminds the believers of the following against Satan:
How do you reconcile your earlier statement <i>"We are all humans and we all sin. That’s why we need help to prevent ourselves from sinning in the future" </i>, with the rest of your post (the above quote)?
Do faithful Muslims sin too? Can a Muslim go through their entire life always following the path of Allah & not straying even once (considering they haven't inherited Original Sin)? Although Mohammad (PBUH) was deceived by Satan into preaching the Satanic Verses, was he free from all sin? Was Jesus Christ, the "prophet" in Islam, a sinner?
Wael, if you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to ask me :) I owe you big time for all this!!!
May Allah richly bless & reward you for your wonderful deeds!
