In the Name of God - Most Merciful & Compassionate!
Peace be with you!
Quote:The Prophet PBUH said: “"One who repents from sin is like one without sin."”
So it depends on how sincere are you in turning to Allah asking for forgiveness. However, no Muslim will ever say that 'i am granted paradise' just because I am a Muslim; we believe that only through Allah’s Mercy one can attain salvation.
What does "repent" entail? Must we wait until Judgement Day to find out if the sins we've confess to Allah have been forgiven?
Thanks for posting the other bits & pieces :)
Quote:Are you saying that Iblis was a good Muslim by disobeying Allah’s command?
No, not quite! I don't know what I'm saying exactly, because I've yet to grasp the meaning of this particular event.
Quote:To signify man’s superiority over every other creation, it is not to worship Adam, worship due to Allah alone. If Allah wishes for you to bow to someone for respect, you will do it, this is being obedient to God and obeying his command it has nothing to do with worshipping Adam. And you know well that there are plenty of people in the Bible prostrated and bowed down to other human beings, not for worship, but to pay respect and reverence to them.
So the real reason for this command was to show MANKINDS SUPERIORITY over all creation.
If mankind's superior to Angels & Jinns, why are we so weak when it comes to temptation from Iblis (Shaytan)... a lower creature?
