Bismillah:
Quote:There's a difference between Jesus Christ the Son of God & Messiah, ascending into Heaven by His own power,
Am sorry, but I found myself forced to reply this point.
To say that he was ascended into heaven by his own power is contradictory to what the master himself said…
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.-(JOHN 5:30-31).
... for my Father is greater than I.-(JOHN 14:28).
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his Lord; neither he that is sent greater than He that sent him.-(JOHN 13:16)
In another quotation which is not ready with me right now, Jesus admits that “All power is GIVEN to me… its not his own, but it was given to him by someone more powerfull than him, even if he was ascended into heaven, it was not on his own power, but by the power of the Almighty God.
There is no need for you to reply, I know exactly how Christians feel about this matter, but I would like to tell you that we believe that Jesus Christ is the only Prophet who was taken up or ascended into heaven by God, and he is the only Prophet who is still alive today, but that does not make him God, or special, although we believe that he was one of the mightiest messengers of God Almighty, but we are told in the Qur'an to make no distinction between all Prophets…
