Why do you assume the reason for not imitating Christians is because Christians are evil? :conf06:

Why else would you be against the idea?

We are Muslims. God's last and final messenger to all of mankind left us with the Quran and the Sunnah. Why will we need to imitate the ways of the Christians?

I've been studying the Koran lately & from what I gather, Mohammad (PBUH) commanded us to look to the Gospel for revelations from God/Allah. He implied that the prophets do not contradict one another. Didn't he also say something about reconciling his message to that of Jesus Christ's??? The doctrine of Taref is a later development & based on a false assumption. Neither the Koran nor the Hadith teach that Christians or Jews corrupted their Scriptures. We have manuscripts from the first few centuries AD which prove the Bible hasn't been tampered with. Please keep that in mind. I agree with the Koran that many Christians don't live up to Biblical expectations.

I think you will not expect that Christians should imitate the ways of the hindus?

Of course I do! Regardless of a person's religion, if they're living a good moral life than they deserve to be imitated (in behaviour not worship).


I'm not suggesting Muslims imitate the way Christians proclaim their beliefs. But we all have the ability to perform good deeds, therefore, we should be able to connect on that level.

I know alot of Muslims with the name of Jesus, but usually they opt for the Arabic version of the name: Eesa.

That's awesome! Did you know "Joshua" is the Hebrew name for Jesus?
