Prohibited Names for Muslim children

Assalamualaikum Brothers and Sisters,


All praises are for ALLAH and peace and blessings on our prophet (sws). Whoever ALLAH guides none can misguide and whoever ALLAH lets astray none can guide.


I just want to ask as the sister mentioned regarding the names yaseen etc. And she said that these names are disliked. My doubt is although they may be disliked but whether these names come under the category of those names which are not allowed. And What imam ibn-qayyim Al-jawziyyah said is related to the saying that there is no hadith which prove that huruf-muqqattat are the names of prophet (sws). So please explain whether these names are allowed or disallowed, if disallowed why?
