"While you are sincere in your belief in Allah I am seeing that your belief has no depth."
Wow. I think the exact same thing of you. I don't have to do anything to discredit you since you do it yourself the more you write.
"Now if you admonish your wife and refuse to share your bed with her and because of those actions she fears cruelty or desertion do you A. Beat them or B. Arrange an amicable settlement
It seems to me you would choose A. Beat them
I would choose B. Arrange an amicable settlement"

You know nothing of how I treat my wife, just as I know nothing of how you treat yours. Would you be offended by my telling you that you are probably a wife beater? Try to stop and think. For someone who claims such an special position, you sure utter base and idiotic statements.
How many followers has your "truth" gathered from the muslims here btw?
I made this point that you can reason and judge from the scriptures because you could not see how someone can see that they can drink Alcohol if they can conduct themselves well.
The verse that says:
Quote:admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly)
Is offset with such a verse that says this:
Quote:If a wife fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no blame on them if they arrange an amicable settlement between themselves; and such settlement is best
So according to the verses you are allowed to beat them but you would choose rightly and make a settlement with them, this means you can gain more understanding from verses if you check other verses before you make judgements. If the Quran forbids drinking because it is a device Satan uses to cause strife between individuals and yet God is going to give it to you in paradise that means that if you can drink alcohol without it causing strife it can be acceptable. there is nothing written in the Quran that is for the purpose of limiting your enjoyment of life it is only envy and strife and evil behaviors and actions that are forbidden.
