I haven't even seen any proof from shariah for this... anyone?

arclight is referring to one of the stories linked in his/her? post. However, none of the rapists was sentenced to sixty lashes. The least sentence was 80 lashes and prison time (which is still too little -- I think all rapists should be put to death).
