Quote:Bismillah
You're not?
"Oh yes, I have taken drugs in the past. And presently I like an Ice cold beer(although I don't get drunk)"
:bismillah:
Dan,
Was the question not asked and did I not then tell the truth? Now, when I answer the question you thought that my answer would somehow discredit me but instead it could not have done such a thing. Allah knows what is in front of me and behind me. Allah knows what is on both sides of me. Perhaps a person like you might say to someone "facing in this direction in prayer is the way you must face" But the truth is Allah is The God of all directions and every direction you face in prayer is facing Allah.
While you are sincere in your belief in Allah I am seeing that your belief has no depth.
The Quaran says that you may when dealing with a disputing wife:
004.034
YUSUFALI: Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all).
And now in this one:
004.128
YUSUFALI: If a wife fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no blame on them if they arrange an amicable settlement between themselves; and such settlement is best; even though men's souls are swayed by greed. But if ye do good and practise self-restraint, Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.
Now if you admonish your wife and refuse to share your bed with her and because of those actions she fears cruelty or desertion do you A. Beat them or B. Arrange an amicable settlement
It seems to me you would choose A. Beat them
I would choose B. Arrange an amicable settlement
Would you be wrong for choosing A. Beat them. Maybe not depending on the circumstances.
Would I be wrong for choosing B. Arrange an amicable settlement. Never as it is The Ultimate Way of Compassion and Mercy.
I hope your argument is leading to discovery. Peace be upon you and may God open your heart to the truths that I am giving you and others here that wish to learn. YEHUWAH ALLAH HU AKBAR :allahuakbar:
