Johndoe, if u r talking about Muslim soldiers committing transgressions in relation to Islamic warfare rules, then they are not anything more than those german soldiers to whom u just made the execuse and understood their position. It has nothing to do with Islam itself. Even during the time of the Messenger salla Allah a`lyhee wa sallam, while he was alive among the companions, one (dont recall his name right now) of the companions, during a battle, was able to defeat a kafir and put him down to the ground with the sowrd on his neck. So the kafir pronounced Shahada. But the companion still killed him. When he went back, the Messenger salla Allah a`lyhee wa sallam kept blaming him so much, he explained that he only pronounced shahada to rescue himself. The Messenger salla Allah a`lyhee wa sallam told him did u cut open his chest to verify whether or not he is genuine?
Even the most rightous people can make mistakes. But u only like to take execuses and be understanding to the non Muslims position. You are calling most of us hypocrites. Because I fear Allah prefer not to judge. What do you call your position then?
