Quran 2:259
#4

Bismillah

Jazakum Allah khairan brothers for your reply, so he was not a prophet. Actually, my main inquiry was who made the dialogue with him, as far as I understand from the story, first it was angle of death, then Allah.

Matter of fact, I thought of this point when I read the Ayah:

"Those Messengers! We preferred some to others; to some of them Allah spoke (directly); others He raised to degrees (of honour); " (Quran 2:253)

In this Ayah, Allah Say to some of them Allah Spoke, the word some implies more than one. Thus it was not only Mussa who spoke directly with Allah. There must be others but not specified. As in:" And, indeed We have sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad); of some of them We have related to you their story and of some We have not related to you their story" (Quran 40:78).

That was my main inquiry. Alhamdulelah, jazakum Allah khairan.
