What to expect from prayer?

Bismillah:

I have tried both. I have never heard any word at all. I do seek if there is a god, I think it important to not be closed minded. An open mind to me is very important and is crucial in reasonable thinking.


I, like other humans have experianced pain emotional and physical and also am curious. I have sought after a god but alas, no answers at all.


I wish there would be an answer it would be a comfort I think.

Why don’t you visit some mosques nearby your area? get to know some Muslim friends there and open discussion with them, observe the way how Muslims offer their prayers, try to prostrate as I told you before seeking help from the One who Created everything. And Insha’Allah he is going to answer, don’t give up, sometimes when Allah test His people harder, the reward would be higher insha'Allah.
