Quote:Ah, great - so an analysis of the signature too aswell, for which i defended the right to use it, was removed.

I'm sorry that this had to happen to you akhi. You know Allah knows who you are so don't worry.
I love poetry and I love proverbs, I didn't see anything sexual or haram as they call it about your signature. People will see what they want to see.
My question to my Brother Suhail is:
Do you know who Tamim Ad-Dari was? Try learning about him and Insha'Allah you'll gather that even rasululah (saw) narrated a story told by a "non muslim" to us his ummah.
Someone can admire words and literature whether its from a song or poetry. Mahmud admired the words he didn't put up a link to a song.
I am a member of another Muslim forum & Visit many others to read, This perplexes me SubhanaAllah.
Your signature has to be something you admire & respect, it's not put up there to entertain others, or to be removed if it doesn't please you or match your own ideals
Also there are better ways to deal with people esp a young teenager, then just to edit them and leave them to it, thats if you care how another muslim feels.
I also think that this type of strictness is likely to make hypocrites out of us (members) everytime we want to say soemthing we have to worry and think oh "will they edit me"? Oh I will put up a nice hadith. First the person wanted to something out of free will that Allah swt gave them, and secondly the person thinks twice and startes pleasing you.
Just trying to show you things from a different angle, and as a muslim on this forum I thought it would be better if I gave my input. If I kept it in my heart and never said anything Allah might question me why. :)
Ok I am adding this part :D Remember your young days, you too didn't just pop and just get here. ;)
Happy Iftar 2 the UK People, I think you got an Hour left :thumb:
