Now, unless I am much mistaken, he was sent to Syria, where he was tortured. Now, sending him away was wrong, but wasn't it far worse to torture him? Wasn't that the real crime against humanity? Why the vitriol against G.W. Bush, when it was an autonomous nation's government who actually enacted the torture against Mr. Arar? I've had some difficulty with that question for a while, and I was wondering what the good folks from this site think. |
