salam alaykum the Qur'an prescribes no punishment. A person who converts to another religion from Islam, may continue to live in the same community, on the same condition he doesn't loose his commonsense and start preaching on a mass scale and trying to convert hundreds of people and causing problems. If he causes problems, he is kicked out. If he is poor, he would probaly be given money or given to rich/average members of his new religion. may God bless you.l |
