Voice, While I disagree with the use of the term "atheist" to describe yourself, based on what I understood was the definition for the word. By your words you sounds more agnostic - neither confirming nor denying belief in a diety. While an atheist is one who does the opposite of what a theist does - denies the belief in diety....at least, that is my understanding.
I notice you refered to Christianity's belief in a "triune" God, then stated many others are "mono-thiests". Giving the impression that Christianity's belief in a "triune" God gives way to poly-theism...it does not. I can only assume it is lack of understanding on your part and wasn't intentional.
Other than those two points I can understand the opinion you have based on your experiences. As far as evidence goes, that is a tricky subject. While I see plenty of overwheming for the existence of God...another might not accept what I present as evidence. And therein lies the issue.
