Black magic and witchcraft
#17

Bismillah

Salam Shamms

Actually you raised an excellent point here, Alhamdulelah that you did raise, since this will allow further explanation.

My question was about muslims, not people in general, becoming possessed. Is it possible for one who places his faith in allah and muhammad as allah's messenger to become possessed? That's what I want to know.

The answer to this questions is the core of islam.

As I explained about there are two types of devilish related problems human being may encounter.

However, let us examine what does Quran say:

” So, the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together.* Except Iblees (Satan), - he refused to be among the prostrators.* (Allah) said: "O Iblees (Satan)! What is your reason for not being among the prostrators?" [iblees (Satan)] said: "I am not the one to prostrate myself to a human being, whom You created from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud.* (Allah) said: "Then, get out from here, for verily, you are Rajeem (an outcast or a cursed one).* And verily, the curse shall be upon you till the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection).* [iblees (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they (the dead) will be resurrected* Allah said: "Then, verily, you are of those reprieved, * Till the Day of the time appointed* Iblees (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Because you misled me, I shall indeed adorn the path of error for them (humankind) on the earth, and I shall mislead them all.* Except Your chosen, (guided) slaves among them." (Quran 15-40)

Let me elaborate on the last verse and further explain, with all due respect to the translator, may Allah Reward him much. The verse literally says except your sincere, devotees.

Islam is a religion of working, we are on this earth to work to do, to take action, not to sit and let other carry our sins, or protect us or work on our behalf.

In many other positions, Allah encourages Muslims to work, for example, during the last ten days of Ramadan, there is a night that is highly blessed and worshiping this night I mean staying up all night to pray and recite Quran is highly regarded in the Eyes of Allah. Highly regarded to the extend that Allah made it equal to the worship of 1000 months. But Allah didn’t specify to us when exactly is this night. We were only told thru hadeeth that it is one of the nights of the last ten days (odd number). The objective is to let us work thru for ex, the night of the 21, 23rd..etc. We need to work hard to seek it, I mean the reward is worth it.

Same thing, the Messenger prayer and peace be upon him told us that in every Friday, there is a time on which supplications are answered. He only told us that this time is between Asr and Maghreb prayer. We also need to dedicate this time and work hard, thru reciting Quran, invoking upon Allah, making remembrance to benefit of this time. Another example is on the last third of the night, which also not specifically determined.

As u see, our religion is a religion of action, we always need to be alert, aware of Allah’s presence, seeking Allah’s Protection, Satisfaction, Guidance and Help and more. Only when we constantly strive to achieve this goal that we will become one of those sincere devotees whom Iblees has not control or influence upon.

It is not enough to verbally say La ilaha ila Allah Mohamadan Rasullah, then miss prayers, don’t remember Allah, fail to apply Quran and hadeeth within our daily life situations, ignore fasting..etc, then expect that Iblees will have no influence upon the person.

Allah Does not need no one, but we need Allah, we have to express our need, only then Iblees can never have influence upon us. Not only Iblees that we need to keep under Allah’s Protection, but also we need to be free from our self inspirations. We need not to let ourselves control or drive us, but we rather control and drive it.

Now let me continue, but as for being inflicted with witchcraft, this can happen to devoted people as a form of a test or trial. But as I quoted the hadeeth, one who is regular on eating dates in the morning Insh aAllah shall not be inflicted with witchcraft.
