Who is this article talking about? Who is Mamed??? I cant remember it well but I know a story during the Prophets life some disbelievers were mocking at the Prophet and trying to give him a very hard time calling him a madman and laughing poking fun much like I think this story of yours is intended to do. But the whole time the disbelievers were doing this they were calling him another name (I wish I remember what it was) something close to Muhammad but not Muhammad.
Anyway their treatment of the Propeht was really annoying for his companions and one of them askes the Propeht how can you stay so patient about it? And the Prophet said, what to get mad about in the first place they are not even speaking about me but some poor man called ................. (maybe like Mamed) !! So God saved even the Prophet's name from disbelivers at that time and I guess the same is true now.
