it seems "15 “Moreover if your brother sins against you" refers to brother in religion more than blood, right?


to be more specific, is there a passage that tells parents not to abadon their children?

I am not sure of any passage that tells parents not to abandon their children. Their are OT laws that say parents should stone wayward sons etc...but those had their purpose in God's plan and since Christ fulfilled the law aren't necessary.
