Curious Christian asked:
> Is a man changing a baby's diaper haram?
Apparently, no. In fact, quite the opposite.
The second fatwa on the following page:
IslamOnline Live Fatwa Session: March 1, 2002
reads, in part:
> Taking care of the children (food, shelter, dress) including changing the diapers
> is the responsibility of fathers (your husband).
Another good reason, CC, for us to remain Christian...

While researching the above reply, I came across an interesting fatwa regarding adult diapers. If you check out the following fatwa:
Woman working in a home for the elderly
you will see that it is highly recommended that muslims not change the diapers of adults. Which leads to the interesting question: who, then, should change the diapers of infirm Muslim adults who are incapable of changing their own diapers?
Answer:
Quote:So my advice is that a Muslim woman, in particular, should not work in this place. This work is also not desirable because it involves dealing with impure things. Accepting help from the social institution, even though it involves the humiliation of the Muslim taking aid from the kaafirs, is still easier to bear than this work which involves going against sharee’ah
.
So it appears us evil kaafirs have an important role to play in Islamic societies...
