Who or what is a Salafi? Is their approach valid?

Salam The muslims that I have met who claim to be "Salafi" happen to come across to me as people who love to fight with people who differ with them. They seem to have this approach that is intimidating and they are extremely sharped tongued. I don't think that the real Salaf behaved that way. I noticed that people who are quick to say "i'm so and so" also happen to be the ones who misrepresent what they claim to be. |
