Bismillah
As Salam alaikum
Subhannallah, there is such power in praying at night, even if it is only a couple of rakats. If we get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, we may as well get wudu (we're washing our hands after using the bathroom anyway... I hope) and take a few minutes to praise Allah and thank Him for all we have. Qiyam al-layt is so intimate also. The world is so still. the presence of Allah is more palpable in such quiet reflection. We have no appointments to make. We have no TV show to catch. No one is waiting for us to finish. May we all make night prayer as integral in our lives are the fard ones. What reward on the Day of Judgement!
As Salam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu
