[b:d4ca4cf1de]MUSLIM SISTERS CONFERENCE 2003[/b:d4ca4cf1de][/size:d4ca4cf1de]

Annually since 1998 in the grounds of the Islamic University, Jamiatul Imaam Muhammad Zakaria, Bradford, United Kingdom, a females only conference has been taking place entitled ‘Muslim Sisters Conference.’

Amongst the activities that take place during this conference are lectures by fully qualified and capable female scholars on a variety of important subjects. All lectures are given in English.

To get away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives for a few hours and spend time in a purely Islamic environment is a great means of strengthening ones iman (belief), increasing ones knowledge and benefiting from the company of the pious. The conference is a unique opportunity for sisters to benefit from the intellectual input and spiritual guidance of female scholars.

Some of the topics covered during last year’s conference included:

• Taqwa

• al Aqsa

• Is there Hope for the Ummah?

• The Inescapable End

• Who are We?

• The Supreme Creation

Jamiatul Imaam Muhammad Zakaria, is an institution wherein Islamic education as well as secular education is taught to sisters. The institution is situated at a serene location, aloof from the busy and congested environment we have to cope with daily.

As mentioned above, Islamic education as well as secular education is taught to sisters at this institution. The Islamic education mentioned usually involves a five year course on Islamic theology wherein students are taught [i:d4ca4cf1de]Tafseer[/i:d4ca4cf1de] of the Qur’an, [i:d4ca4cf1de]Hadeeth, Tajweed, Fiqh[/i:d4ca4cf1de], and classical as well as modern Arabic. All of these lessons are conducted in a professional way by learned female scholars in a traditional but adaptable way, observing all requirements for [i:d4ca4cf1de]hijaab[/i:d4ca4cf1de] as a priority.

[i:d4ca4cf1de]Alhamdullilah[/i:d4ca4cf1de], many of the sisters that have graduated from this institution have gone on to establish, around the UK, sisters only classes through which many sisters have greatly benefited.

There is [b:d4ca4cf1de]no charge[/b:d4ca4cf1de] for the conference with [b:d4ca4cf1de]meals provided free.[/b:d4ca4cf1de]

While you are there you will be able to purchase a large variety of Islamic goods including audio lectures, books, clothing including hijabs.

Please come yourself and invite others for the Holy Prophet, may peace & blessings be upon him, said: [i:d4ca4cf1de][b:d4ca4cf1de]‘Whomsoever guides towards a goodness, will get virtues equal to the one who performs that goodness.’[/b:d4ca4cf1de][/i:d4ca4cf1de] [Muslim]
